Packard Construction, Inc.
About The Company
I began my construction career in 1971 where I worked for a local construction company and quickly learned the phases that were involved in residential, multi-family, as well as multi-story projects. I learned a wide variety of construction techniques on these various projects. Through the years, I have honed my skills as a carpenter with different companies. I started my own company in 1985, focusing on residential framing and interior trim work as a sub-contractor. In 1995 I passed the state contractors exam and received my state general contractors license. I have developed my own clientele as well as contracting for developers. My focus over the years has been remodeling, additions, and high end trim work. I do projects large and small as needed.
Home Inspector
I also conduct home inspections. I am a certified member of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI). They are the world's largest, most elite non-profit inspection assocation.

A Full Home Inspection Includes:
As a InterNACHI member I must adhere to InterNACHI's Standards of Practice. This means I will attempt to inspect all of the following (when accessible):
Review the InterNACHI Standards of Practice for complete details or contact me with any specific questions.
1. Full Home Inspection
A Home Inspection is a non-invasive visual examination of a residential dwelling, performed for a fee, which is designed to identify observed material defects within specific components of said dwelling. Components may include any combination of mechanical, structural, electrical, plumbing, or other essential systems or portions of the home, as identified and agreed to by the Client and Inspector, prior to the inspection process.
2. Seller Inspection
Seller inspections are becoming more popular because they virtually eliminate all the pitfalls and hassles associated with waiting to do the inspections until a buyer is found. Seller inspections are arranged and paid for by the seller, usually just before the home goes on the market. The inspector works for the seller and generates a report for the seller. The seller then typically makes multiple copies of the report and shares them with potential buyers that tour the home for sale. Seller inspections are a benefit to all parties in a real estate transaction.
Choosing the right home inspector can be difficult. Unlike most professionals, you probably will not get to meet me until after you hire me. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and yes, different pricing. One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires work, a lot of work. Ultimately a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector's own effort. If you honor me by permitting me to inspect your new home, I guarantee that I will give you my very best effort.
This we promise you.
